Ways to Get Involved
Red Barn Schoolhouse is more than a school—it’s a community.
Whether you’re a family, educator, neighbor, or local partner, there are many ways to be part of what we’re building. We believe the most meaningful learning happens when people come together, share their gifts, and create something bigger than any one of us could do alone.
Partner With Us
We believe learning is stronger when it is connected to the world around us.
If you’re a local business, artist, farmer, or organization interested in partnering with Red Barn, we would love to collaborate.
Stay Connected
Not quite ready to jump in? That’s okay.
- Follow along as we grow
- Attend upcoming events
- Reach out with questions or ideas
Support Red Barn
Donations play an important role in helping us grow and provide rich, hands-on learning experiences for our students. If you’re interested in supporting Red Barn through a financial gift, we’d love to connect
The Red Barn Schoolhouse will provide a high-quality, educational experience in Loess Hills for up to 100 students in K-5.
Volunteer with Red Barn Schoolhouse
At Red Barn, we believe learning is richer when it’s shared. Community members and volunteers play an important role in bringing experiences to life for our students. At the same time, we are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for every child.
Ongoing Volunteer Roles
If you’re interested in being more regularly involved, there may be opportunities to support students in a more consistent way.
This might look like:
- Supporting classroom or program experiences
- Working with small groups of students
- Mentoring or helping facilitate learning
Community Participation
You’re welcome to join us in ways that are collaborative, visible, and supported by our team.
This might look like:
- Sharing your expertise as a guest speaker, artist, or storyteller
- Joining us during outdoor learning experiences
- Helping with events or special projects
- Participating in family and community gatherings
For those in ongoing or independent roles, a background check is required before working directly with students.
We’d love to learn more about you.
